About

WhY Thai Yoga?

What makes Thai Yoga unique? Unlike other modalities, Thai Yoga relates to all five layers of the body. In Ayurveda, the medicinal side of yoga, these are referred to as Koshas. These five separate spheres of the body are synergetic. The intention of your Thai Yoga practitioner is to activate, release, and heal these Koshas so that they may work together in harmony. In the process, the practitioner can assist each client in reaching a higher consciousness.

When you tune into your higher self, your soul—or inner self— will manifest more self-love, joy, and peace. When you experience the full benefits of a Thai Yoga session by a seasoned body facilitator, you will be able to tap into a more spiritual and energetic self. In music, often times we use a tuning fork to find the perfect pitch. That's what a Thai body facilitator does. He or she helps you tune your body to the right frequency to help induce healing. By engaging the physical, mental, energetic, and intuitive body, Thai Yoga can bring enlightened self-realization to many areas of your life.

What is Thai Yoga?

Thai Yoga is the practice of rejuvenating one's energy. It deals with the understanding of how energy flows through the body and works in harmony with that flow. Thai Yoga Fort Myers offers an intuitive, holistic approach to healing. With foundations in the healing traditions of Indian Ayurvedic medicine, Thai Yoga is a unique holistic practice.

In the system of Thai Yoga, the practitioner guides the client through a series of yoga postures, while palming and thumbing along the body’s energy lines ("Sen" Lines) and pressure points. Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.
